LEARNING OBJECTVIE: Read and write whole numbers in figures and words

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to read big numbers correctly and also be able to write down big numbers in words

STARTER: Write down in words ALL the numbers from 1 to twenty. Copy and complete this table

LESSON: Use the bag of number words to make all the numbers in the bag as words. Use a glue stick to stick them onto a large piece of paper when you think you are correct

PLENARY: Put some large numbers on IWB, get students to write them into their exercise books, check answers, get feedback from students
