LEARNING OBJECTIVE: TO discover how to read measurements from a variety of different scales
SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to read accurately from a variety of different scales, dials and measuring devices.
ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Use Number lines from this MathsPuzzles Document - period 1 and odd one out p2
LESSON Use these two resources to practice reading values of lots of different measuring devices. Use the
different scales to wpork out how to read the different scales.
Scales 1, Scales 2
Students to write down 1 to 10 for each different device, give them 10 to read then mark and repeat... lots opf times
Use the reosurces in this document for lots of practice.
