LEARNING OBJECTIVE: Practice multiplying and dividing numbers with 1 decimal digit by single integers.

 SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to multiply and divide numbers with i decimal digit without a calculator

 ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: Follow on Cards – G4 -Solving Addition and subtraction problems


LESSON: Reminder on IWB how to do sums like 5 x 56.7, 7 x 23.8... being strict on how they are set out using grid method. Then work through these questions.

 PLENARY: Students check each other's answers using their calculators
