Fri Mar 1st - Putting COllected Data into a Frequency Table

LEARNING OBJECTIVE: To Develop understanding of data stored in a frequency table

SUCCESS CRITERIA: You will be able to answer questions about data stored in a frequency table and also create a frequency table from ollected data

STARTER: Maisie the Mouse  No. 38

LESSON: Work thorugh this Mymaths Lesson on Frequency Tables

If time get pairs of students to collect data and create a frequency table for the following Data Sets:

1. Eye Colour of everyone in the room (Olivia, Alex, Rebecca and Courtney)
2. Month of Birthday of Everyone in the room (Oliver, Cameron and 
3. Car colours of cars in the car park that you can see out of the window (Jordan, Matthew, Lucy and Kyle)
4. Number of brothers and sisters (one total) each person has (Ellie and BobbyLeigh and Bethany)
5. Shoe Size of Each Person.( Connor, Lucas and Lewis)

For each of the data sets you must do ALL of the follwoing
1. Create a tally table to collect your data
2. Create a Frequency table of the results of your data collection.
3. Draw a Bar chart of your information.
