ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY:
Write down what you think the following lengths are: (use mm, cm, m or Km
  1. Height of the door
  2. Width of your desk
  3. Length of your exercise book
  4. Height of the window
  5. Length and width of the classroom
  6. Width of your little fingernail
  7. The thickness of your exercise book
  8. Distance from School To Leeds
  9. Distance from Leeds to the nearest seaside town
  10. Distance of Leeds to London

LESSON: Explain How the metric prefixes make a ladder or staircase, and that every staircase up is multiply by 10 and every staircase down is divide by 10

If corridors are clear and students well behaved move to a staircase and use the labels to mark the staircase and use walking up and down the staircase to solve these problems
